Back in high school I spent a lot of time playing the science fiction table top miniatures game Warhammer 40,000. Boom! Studios started publishing new Warhammer comics a year or two ago, and to indulge my nostalgic fandom, I drew a one page strip for them.
Also back in high school, I went to a shop called Apparitions, run by Dave Pirkola. Earlier this year Dave was shot in a robbery, and medical bills have piled up for him, worsened by the fact that he doesn't have health insurance. ifanboy is holding an auction to benefit Dave, and my Warhammer page is now up for auction here.
